Customer Identification
In accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's laws and regulations we are obliged, as a financial institution, to gather and maintain information about our customers in order to deliver our services to them in an accurate, compliant and timely fashion. We collect non-public personal information about you in order to conduct our business with you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on our Business Agreement Forms, such as name, address, national identification number or telephone number;
- Information about your transactions with us through transactions records; and
- Information we may receive from you over the internet such as your e-mail address.
Securing your passwords
- If a customer suspects that his own password has been compromised, he/she must change his/her password as soon as possible.
- Use alphanumeric passwords to minimize password theft, and avoid using easy passwords such as your birthday and your mobile numbers.
- Customers must avoid storing their passwords on their PC or Mobile.
Virus Spyware
Virus spyware is the most common security threat facing users today. Viruses, spyware, trojans and worms can inflict varying degrees of damage on users, depending on their type and the scope of the attack. To protect your PC from vulnerability, ensure that you have up-to-date antivirus and anti-spyware software installed and enabled on your PC at all times.
Phishing
Phishing is a criminal activity that attempts to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and account details, by masquerading as a trustworthy friend or company entity. Phishing is typically carried out using email or instant messaging and often directs users to give details at a fake website; phone contact may be used as well.
